Exploring the concept of interactive design and how it can be adapted and used in day to day life. Interactivity between the user/audience and the design is an important thing to consider as technology has enabled us to have a greater user experience.

Using the Greta Thunberg text - 'no-one is too small to make a difference' I built an interactive typographic HTML. I found the Greta Thunberg text very powerful and eye opening to the issues in todays society revolving Climate Change. I strongly agree with her point of view and want to do what I can as a designer to help assist this movement.
Using HTML and adobe programmes such as Dreamweaver I created an interactive anagram using some of the quotes that impacted me. I explored various designs and felt this bold, yet simple statement design draws attention to the message, avoiding any other distractions. Sometimes as a designer you have to acknowledge that simple and clear design although it looks 'effortless' creates a statement and achieves the original goal in a more effective way.

I looked into various ways this interactive poster could be used in day to day life, how it might be interacted with and where it might be displayed. I had the idea that the poster could be a billboard next a big motorway (like the m4) and each time a car passes (triggers a sensor) the gif changes. I also had the idea that it speeds up deepending on how many cars pass, showing the increase in fossil fuel usage to increase the poster speed. This creates a realistic sense of urgency and is thought provoking to it's audience.
